Dr. Arielle Petropolis, DC
Chiropractor & Concussion Provider

Dr. Arielle Petropolis always knew that she wanted to help others achieve optimal health and
function from growing up in a family of passionate healthcare practitioners and exposure to a
variety of sports, including squash, swimming, and basketball. Her understanding of the
importance of quality of movement and function grew through previous injury while training for
and competing at two Canada Winter Games as a member of the NS squash team.

During her undergraduate studies at Dalhousie University, Dr. Petropolis had opportunities to
work in various multidisciplinary clinics and discovered chiropractic care. She was so inspired
by the effectiveness of chiropractic care and its role in a team approach that she furthered her
studies at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where she received her Doctor of
Chiropractic. At this time, she also completed the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program
at McMaster University and received training in Mental Health First Aid. Dr. Petropolis has
since furthered her education in concussion management and is a certified Complete Concussion
Management TM practitioner. Her chiropractic treatments can include spinal manipulation,
neurofunctional acupuncture, soft tissue therapy, education, and rehabilitation. She has
previously practiced in the Dartmouth and Cole Harbour area and looks forward to joining the
Quantum Sport Therapy team!

Dr. Petropolis is passionate about treating everybody for their healthcare needs and strives to
create an open treatment space for her patients. She has a special interest in concussions (new or
persistent) as well as neck and upper back pain, headaches, and jaw issues and how they are
often related. She is also interested in women’s health issues as the changes that women
experience during and following pregnancy have often been under-addressed in healthcare. Dr.
Petropolis believes that finding and easing barriers to movement, education, and collaboration is
important for patient-centered care and looks forward to helping people achieve their goals
related to health, recovery, performance, and feeling their best!

In her time outside of work, she enjoys cooking and being outdoors on the beautiful coastal areas
of the Maritime provinces.
